KINDERGARTEN ACTIVITY, 2019-20

JUNE 2019

The new session commenced on June 6th. The re-opening day of the new academic year was marked with eager young faces, anxious parents and welcoming teachers. Parents were allowed to take happy pictures with their smiling kids

                     

 

A Parent orientation programme was conducted by Mrs Jyothi Menon - The K G Co ordinator –to apprise the parents about the functioning of the school. Parents were in maximum attendance for the same and got many of their doubts cleared.

                                   

 

International Yoga Day was celebrated in the School. The yoga teacher from the main school helped the children to do yoga in an easy way. Warming up exercises, breathing exercises and few easy asanas were taught to the children.

                                        

The Colour of the month of June was blue and it was celebrated every Friday. A number of activities were conducted in the class to introduce the colour blue to the children. Blue boats were made and pasted in their art Books.

                              

 

JULY 2019

A demo was conducted by the team from the main school to teach the use  of the fire extinguisher ,in case of a fire accident

                                                

 

Bud painting was done by LKG students to make grapes, introducing them to green colour

 

                                                    

 

Green Day celebrations

The Colour of the month of July was green and it was celebrated every Friday. A number of activities were conducted in the class to introduce the colour green to the children.

 

 

Colouring and Drawing activity

                         

Colouring  and drawing activity were conducted for the month of July.

 

Parrot making(Craft)

                                                                  

Children made parrots of green coloured papers and stuck them in their drawing books.

                            

 

AUG 2019

A Special assembly to explain Traffic Lights and their Importance was conducted in the school. Significance of the colours of the signal was explained to the children along with a poem

                         

 

Competition for English & Hindi Recitation was conducted in the school. Enthusiastic Children Recited poems aided with Props and Action. Winners of the competition were awarded with a Certificate of merit

 

 

                          

 

Mrs SarikaJha volunteered to conduct a story telling session for the children in school. She narrated the story of the dog and his master with props and masks. The children enjoyed listening to the story as she enacted it to them

                         

 

The doctors from the MH conducted a medical check up for all the children of the school. Parameters like height, weight, ears, teeth, oral hygiene, immunization were checked by them

                         

The Colouring competition organized by the Global event managers was conducted in the school. Children enjoyed colouring the car and the dog face. Pencil, eraser, colours chocolates and participation certificates were given to all participants

                   

The Colour of the month of August was orange and it was celebrated every Friday. A number of activities were conducted in the class to introduce the colour orange to the children

    

 

Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm by the school. Children coloured the flag with the tricolour and took it home. The entire premises echoed the sounds of the children waving their flags and shouting ‘ I Love India’. The

                      

 

children along with the teachers dressed in tricolours sang patriotic songs and did the marchpast in the school premises 

The festival of Janmashtami was celebrated with zeal and enthusiasm. The children of UKG along with the teachers conducted a special assembly to showcase the significance of the festival with the help of a skit and a dance.
